Even though we’re about a month and a half into 2020, I still think it’s important for me to share my top 10 reads of 2019. This was the lowest formal reading goal that I set (at only 30 books), but I had more of a curated list this time around.
I’m taking the same approach this year, with only 20 books on my list. I’m trying to get through all of the books on my bookshelf that I haven’t cracked open yet. Without further ado though, my top books for 2019 are:
- The Dutch House – Ann Patchett
- All the Light We Cannot See – Anthony Doerr
- Talking to Strangers – Malcolm Gladwell
- Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine – Gail Honeyman
- Shantaram – Gregory David Roberts
- The Autobiography of Gucci Mane – Gucci Mane
- Deep Work – Cal Newport
- The Pursuit of Happyness – Chris Gardner
- Big Little Lies – Liane Moriarty
- Every Note Played – Lisa Genova
