Since about mid-April, I’ve been working as a freelancer with the marketing team over at Local Logic. If you don’t know, Local Logic’s tech products help folks wield the power of location insights in their decision-making. When I ask people if they’ve heard of Local Logic, I usually reference the little map and compilation of neighbourhood scores that you find on Realtor.ca (parks, quiet, schools, etc.)
In Q2, I wrote about nine blog posts detailing the top five family-friendly neighbourhoods in a number of different cities. I tried to keep the tone light yet professional, as that’s very clear in the rest of the content that they have. Out of all of the posts I wrote in this series, I enjoyed writing about Philadelphia the most. I just felt like creating it was super fluid, and I enjoyed research these neighbourhoods the most.
The team at Local Logic has been so great to work with. They are kind folks and strong communicators. I am manifesting a full-time role with them one day (and they know this)!
This week, we started in on the next series of posts. They follow a similar format, but it’s focused on things that appeal to young professionals moving for work (like nightlife). I look forward to continuing this partnership, and am grateful to the Local Logic team for giving a place to be creative and continue developing my skills as a content marketer.
Stay tuned for more on this partnership as it develops!
